Matthew Goldstein, MSW
Counselor
Matthew Goldstein is a Counselor at OMNI, where he works with clients in both individual and group settings. He provides practical tools and strategies that support clients’ mental, physical, and functional health, helping individuals build skills that promote overall well-being and sustainable growth.
Matthew earned his Bachelor of Social Work from Illinois State University in 2023 and his Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago in 2024, with a concentration in Leadership and Macro and Mezzo Practice (LMMP). He was drawn to OMNI by a shared commitment to early intervention, which he believes is essential to improving outcomes for individuals and communities.
Matthew is passionate about human rights and equality and is dedicated to creating inclusive, supportive environments where clients feel respected, empowered, and heard. His work is grounded in advocacy, compassion, and ethical practice.
Outside of his professional role, Matthew enjoys art, playing the piano, gardening, reading, and practicing self-care. He listens to music in multiple languages, loves animals, and considers indigo his favorite color.

OMNI helps individuals overcome challenges, develop strengths and build skills they can use for a lifetime. We address both social determinants of health as well as provide critical mental health counseling and supportive case management services. OMNI provides Individual, Family and Group Counseling for children, adolescents and adults, 24 hour crisis Intervention, substance abuse prevention and treatment, child abuse prevention and intervention, juvenile justice services, youth leadership and healthy choice advocacy and family resource support.
Common issues OMNI battles with our clients include: depression/anxiety, peer and relationship issues, family conflicts/divorce, trauma past and ongoing (domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault), academic problems, criminal activity, substance abuse, school refusal and much more. OMNI creates positive change today for a better tomorrow.
