Mary V Kay, LCPC, NCC
Crisis Clinical Supervisor
Mary Kay is the Crisis Clinical Supervisor at OMNI, where she leads the crisis department and supports counseling staff through challenging and time-sensitive situations. She serves as the daytime on-call supervisor, provides clinical supervision and consultation to counselors, and works closely with the supervisory team to make sure staff have the tools, resources, and support they need. Alongside her leadership role, Mary Kay continues to carry an active caseload, which helps her stay grounded in direct client care.
Mary Kay earned her undergraduate degree in Recreational Therapy from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. She holds her NCC, LPC, and LCPC credentials. At the heart of her work is a belief in meeting people where they are, creating a safe and inclusive space, and helping clients build hope, confidence, and meaningful change in their lives.
Outside of work, Mary Kay is an avid reader and coffee enthusiast who loves exploring local coffee shops. She values slow, intentional routines and enjoys quiet creative activities that bring calm and balance to everyday life. When things get a little louder, she’s cheering on her competitive cheerleader as a proud cheer mom. Fun fact: she’s watched Gilmore Girls more than 100 times and still isn’t tired of it.
