Maria Sanchez-Perez is a mental health professional dedicated to supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Social Work from Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois, completing her undergraduate studies in May 2024 and her graduate degree in May 2025.
Maria brings a culturally humble and systems-informed perspective to her clinical work, emphasizing advocacy, collaboration, and continuous learning. She is passionate about helping clients and their loved ones build emotional resilience and develop practical strategies to manage life’s challenges.
Using a holistic and person-centered approach, Maria integrates each client’s unique identity and life experiences into therapy. She strives to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where individuals can process trauma, reduce stress, and improve overall mental health and well-being.
Maria is deeply committed to guiding clients as they navigate the impacts of anxiety, depression, and trauma, helping them find balance, healing, and personal growth through compassionate, evidence-based care.

OMNI provides Individual, Family and Group Counseling for children, adolescents and adults, 24 hour crisis Intervention, substance abuse prevention and treatment, child abuse prevention and intervention, juvenile justice services, youth leadership and healthy choice advocacy and family resource support.
Common issues OMNI battles with our clients include: depression/anxiety, peer and relationship issues, family conflicts/divorce, trauma past and ongoing (domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault), academic problems, criminal activity, substance abuse, school refusal and much more. OMNI creates positive change today for a better tomorrow.
