Andrea “Dre” Serrano is a Bilingual Therapist and Counselor at OMNI, providing individual therapy to adolescents (ages 12+), young adults, and adults. Her work focuses on creating a supportive, culturally responsive space where clients feel safe exploring their experiences and developing skills to support emotional healing and personal growth.

Dre earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northeastern Illinois University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. She was drawn to OMNI by its mission and the strong support system she experienced during her internship. Ongoing encouragement from leadership and colleagues continues to reinforce her sense of being valued, seen, and supported within the organization.

Dre is deeply passionate about helping individuals reconnect with themselves and rediscover their sense of purpose after experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, and other challenges. She finds great meaning in witnessing her clients’ growth from their initial assessment through the completion of their therapeutic journey. Community impact is central to her work, and she is committed to giving back and uplifting others whenever possible.

Outside of work, Dre enjoys watching horror movies, taking nature walks, listening to music, doing word searches, coloring, and spending time with her two children. She loves baking desserts, learning about the moon and its phases, and is a devoted Bad Bunny fan.
